BoAt Xtend Smartwatch
boAt Watch Xtend Smartwatch features a 5-ATM water resistance design, built-in Alexa voice assistant, 7-days of battery life, and is fitted with a 1.6-inch square LCD Display. Besides, you get health-centric sensors like SpO2 and a 24Hrs heart rate monitor, and daily activity trackers. Let’s dive into its details and see what else it has to offer.
Display
The boAt Xtend boasts a 1.69-inch LCD display with a resolution of 240×240 pixels. The bezels toward the bottom are about one centimeter thick, while the bezels on the other sides are much thinner. The good news is that you won’t even notice the bezels when the screen is turned off.
For me, the display on the boAt Xtend smartwatch is a marked improvement over that of the company’s previous smartwatch. This smartwatch has a bright display and an excellent viewing angle, making it easy to read even outdoors.

The watch’s display can stay on for up to 20 seconds, and the brightness can be adjusted from 5 available levels. When turned all the way up, the screen is quite bright. The brightness level of 5 makes the screen usable in bright sunlight. There is no always-on-display, but that’s not really a deal-breaker.
The large screen makes it easy to read all of your notifications and health stats without having to strain your eyes. Even though there isn’t an additional coating on top of the display, it still doesn’t easily pick up fingerprints or smudges.
Battery and Charging
The Boat Xtend watch is packed with a 300mAh battery. The manufacturer claims that the watch has a seven-day battery life under light usage and five-day battery life under heavy usage. But these claims were far from what I noticed.

The battery life of the watch is around three days if you use the majority of its features. The watch will last for about four to five days if the brightness is kept at a low setting and some features are turned off. For me, the battery life was its biggest drawback.
Software and UI
You will need to install the boAt Wave app on your smartphone and then connect it to the smartwatch. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android. When you sign up, you’ll be asked for some basic information about yourself, including your weight and height.
You will find all fitness-related records and watch settings within the app itself. The fact that the app sends its users a weekly health report card containing extensive health data is a plus.
This smartwatch also has a simple and clean user interface. The bar menu doesn’t have many animations, and it’s easy to navigate around, so it won’t be difficult to use. However, the watch lags from time to time due to the weak processor.

One of the most notable features of the boAt Xtend is its support for Amazon Alexa. The watch has a microphone that can be activated by long-pressing the navigation button. It is important to keep in mind that you can only use Alexa for very basic tasks on the smartwatch, such as setting an alarm or a timer.
Noise ColorFit Pro 2

A few weeks back, Noise, famous for its smart accessories, had launched the ColorFit Pro 2, the company’s latest fitness smartwatch, and the successor of last year’s ColorFit Pro. It comes with a slew of features including color touch screen, new user interface, improved pedometer, and much more. We had this device for more than a week, and here’s our take on it.
Features
By compiling the data collected, the Noise ColorFit Pro 2 can also monitor sleep cycles. For sports enthusiasts who want a dedicated fitness tracker, the watch has 9 sports modes, ranging from walking, yoga, cycling, running, and other physical exercises. The manufactures have also added a breathing mode, which guides along to take deep breathes in order to stabilize heart rate and manage stress.
The smartwatch alerts about incoming messages, calls and other social media notifications with up to 70 characters. A user can see the incoming caller name, a call reject button and a silence icon on-screen during an incoming call. From the website, one can select from up to 6 strap colours, ranging from cherry red, royal blue and a multicolour option. Another unique aspect for women using the affordable smartwatch is a menstrual cycle tracking feature.
Design and Display

Right out of the box, the Noise ColorFit Pro 2 comes with a large 1.3” LCD display. The images and icons on the screen are sharp, thanks to 240 x 240-pixel resolution. The watch case weighs 36 grams and is made of polycarbonate. The smartwatch is shipped with 20mm TPU straps, which are comfortable for long hours of wearing the Noise ColorFit Pro 2. With the IP68 rating, the watch can be submerged up to 1.5m for up to 30 minutes.
Sensors
The Noise ColorFit Pro 2 comes equipped with a lot of sensors, which makes it one of the best affordable smartwatch. Unlike other products in this price range, ColorFit Pro 2 has an optical heart rate sensor capable of 24/7 heart rate monitoring. Other than that, the standard pedometer, accelerometer and gyro sensor enables the watch to track daily fitness activities.
Battery Life

The Noise ColorFit Pro 2 comes with a 210 mAh battery, which is decent for the price. It offers a standby time of up to 45 days. On using the watch daily, a user can expect anywhere between 7 to 10 days of battery life. However, the Noise ColorFit Pro 2 charger is a proprietary magnetic cradle. It sticks along to the charging port and has a USB port at the other end. The Noise ColorFit Pro 2 charger can juice up the watch in watch in about 2 hours.
