Nvidia GeForce 337.5 Driver Analysis

There is a lot of talk and speculation over the performance gains brought out by the latest Nvidia GeForce 337.5 ‘wonder’ drivers, which boast massive gains in both single as well as multi GPU configurations. Since I just have one card and a little time with it, I have tested the drivers with only a few games. So this article might not be conclusive, but should give you a rough idea.

We ran the tests on the Zotac GTX 780 Amp! and used the older GeForce 332.1 driver for comparison and here are the results :

BF3-GTX-780-1-3375

BF3-GTX-780-2-3375

F1-2013-GTX-780-1-3375

F1-2013-GTX-780-2-3375

GRID2-GTX-780-1-3375

GRID2-GTX-780-2-3375

HMA-GTX-780-1-3375

HMA-GTX-780-2-3375

So the bottom line is that we can see some gains – mainly in Grid 2, where we gained around 5%, others remained pretty much the same. Strangely enough, we lost some performance in F1 2013.
