Specification and Features :
The stand has a very nice and stylish aluminium body and comes with 2 removable fans. These fans can be positioned according to your need. The stand can be adjusted to 5 different positions that vary in height. Those who like using an external keyboard and mouse with their laptop (like me) would really benefit from the USB hub. You can adjust the height of the stand, there are a total of 5 positions, which is again very useful as the increased height provides a much better posture. I could really notice this as I used it at my workplace for a few weeks and it really reduced the strain on my lower back. Another advantage is that if you use an external monitor with your laptop, with the increased height you can level it with you monitor, hence making it much easier to use.
Now on the cooling side, the stand comes with 2 movable fans, which the user can adjust to pretty much any place he wants. I think its a fairly good feature to have, because different laptops heat up in different areas. I have a laptop that heats up near the hard drive, hence the area around the touch pad gets pretty hot. So with the movable fans, I can place a fan such that it directs air to that area. The mechanism of removing the fans is fairly simple – once you know how to do it. There is a large plastic button that you got to push when want to move the fan and that’s about it.
