A Closer look :
Now lets take a closer look at the card itself. The cooler is somewhat similar to the one on the GTX 680 we had reviewed earlier. This one is a dual slot cooler and much shorter in length. The cooler has 4 direct contact heat pipes and additional heatsinks on the voltage circuitry.
An interesting thing about the card, is this. The direct power voltage contact is just a way of providing the GPU voltage on both the side of the PCB. So instead of running around the PCB, this provides somewhat a shortcut path. Not sure how much difference it would make in the actual per
The card has 2 SLI connectors, hence you can run 4 of these cards (don’t ask why!) on a single system. For power, the card requires 1 8pin connector. Worth a mention, I would prefer this over 2 6 pin connectors, will be easier and slightly cleaner.
For display, you got 2 DVI ports, one HDMI port and one full sized display port. This configuration should be enough for most. If you need VGA, you will need to purchase a DVI to VGA adapter.
